United States Coins Shows for the Week of September 10-16, 2015

Attending coin shows is a wonderful way for collectors to make new acquaintances, buy and sell coins, and learn new things about the numismatic pastime they enjoy. Coin shows are usually hosted by coin clubs and may range in size from a dozen or so members up to huge organizations such as the American Numismatic Association, which has nearly 30,000 members.

Several great coin shows are happening around the United States during the week of September 10-16, 2015. Here’s a sampling of just some from all corners of the nation:

 

The 2nd Annual National Battlefield Coin Show, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania September 10-12

The 2nd Annual National Battlefield Coin Show will be held at the All-Star Event Complex & Eisenhower Hotel at 2634 Emmitsburg Road. Thursday, September 10, is coin dealer setup day and doors open to the public on Friday 10 AM. Hours for both Friday and Saturday are 10 AM to 5 PM, with parking and admission both free. Numismatic Association 56th Annual Coin & Currency Show, Tinley Park, Illinois September 10-12

The Numismatic Association 56th Annual Coin Show carries at Tinley Park Convention Center carries on a long tradition for this event. The show, at 18451 Convention Center Road near Interstate 80 and Harlem Avenue North, will provide plenty of buying, selling, and trading opportunities for numismatists. Red Stick Coin & Currency Show, Baton Rouge, Louisiana September 11-13

The Red Stick Coin & Currency Show will be held at the Holiday Inn South at 9940 Airline Highway. There will be 45 tables with coin dealers ready to buy, sell, and trade a wide range of U.S. and foreign coins. 3rd Annual Minot Coin Club Coin Show, Minot, North Dakota September 12-13

The 3rd Annual Minot Coin Club Coin Show will take place at the Sleep Inn & Suites at 2400 10th Street SW. The coin show is open from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, and admission for adults is just $1, with free admission for children 17 and under; parking is free. Greater Atlanta Coin Show, Marietta, Georgia September 13

The Greater Atlanta Coin Show will be held at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center at 500 Powder Springs Street. The show, which will be held on Sunday, will be free to the public from 9 AM to 5 PM. 71st Street Coin And Currency Show, Indianapolis, Indiana September 13

The 71st Street Coin And Currency Show will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus at 2100 E. 71st Street on Sunday from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. Annapolis / Edgewater Coin & Currency Show, Annapolis, Maryland September 13
